Men of the Time No. 91: The Dictator Adolf Hitler
This postcard, included in Vishniac’s paper archive, celebrates Nazi Germany’s “annexation” of the Sudetenland, a German-speaking territory of Czechoslovakia, and the beginning of Hitler’s takeover of surrounding territories. Such postcards were disseminated throughout Germany to drum up enthusiasm for the Nazi war machine.
